This I was my first and last time visiting this place for their “Soul Food Sunday’s”! I am extremely disappointed in the food for the amount of money spent! I ordered the turkey wing plate with yellow rice, yams, Mac and cheese and cornbread all for 28 dollars and some change. I received a single turkey wing which was absurd for a damn near 30$ plate. The wing had no flavor outside of the gravy . The Mac and cheese was made with 90% velvetta cheese and 10% cheddar cheese that they used at the top, most definitely an optical illusion. The Mac and cheese had no seasoning all you can taste is velvetta cheese is was definitely a 4 out of 10…. The Yams were also 4 out of 10, like how can you mess up yams they also taste alike they’re right out of a can. The yellow rice was a 7 out 10 the gravy from the turkey wing saved the flavor, but it was cooked well! The cornbread was the best part of the plate it was a strong 8 out of ten. All and all I will not be returning because I went back inside after I looked at my plate in the care and expressed my concern with only having one single turkey wing for this price and my concern was met with complete disregard and nonchalant! Seen this place a few times and decided to try breakfast there. I did not dine in, just did a pick up order, so I can't speak to the service. The interior was nixe and quiet. Overall not too bad as they have a decent selection to choose from. I had a steak and egg croissant. Pretty sure it was steak-umm meat. It could use a dash more seasoning or some type of sauce. The croissant was buttery and flaky so no complaints there. Will definitely give it another try as it seems to offer more than just breakfast.

I ordered a Bagel at 1030am and cream cheese. There was very little selection left. I know it was probably late in the bagel world but still they hardly had anything left. The 2 women behind the counter seemed unfriendly and could have cared less if I was there or not. That said the bagel came up quickly and was delicious! The cream cheese was no where near enough to cover the bagel however. I asked for some butter for the rest and they gave me a couple of pats but again they just seemed like they hated being there. For the food only I would probably come back but the service was a deal breaker for me and I won't be back.

Mary’s Bagel Cafe is a hidden gem! Everything we ordered was made fresh to order, and you can truly taste the difference. The wings were perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside—absolutely delicious. The burgers were thick, flavorful, and cooked just right—super juicy and satisfying. The fries (especially the sweet potato fries 🔥) were the perfect side, hot and fresh. Nothing felt pre-made or rushed—just quality food done right. And the strawberry kiwi lemonade… WOW. So refreshing, perfectly balanced, and easily one of the best drinks I’ve had in a long time. Great food, great quality, and definitely a place we’ll be coming back to. Highly recommend Mary’s Bagel Cafe!

I highly recommend experiencing this place for yourself. Based on my two recent visits, the negative reviews don’t reflect what I experienced at all. Each time my family and I walked in, we were greeted right away, and the customer service was excellent. The food is absolutely amazing. I ordered the Bronx bagel with bacon, egg, and cheese on an asiago bagel, and it was soft, fresh, and full of flavor. The grits were phenomenal, truly some of the best I’ve ever tasted. I also loved the fried cod fish—it was perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. The restaurant is clean, and you can tell they use high-quality ingredients. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. I would definitely recommend giving this spot a try!
